Celeb Sighting: Giovanni Ribisi
Pretty cool this one. Giovanni Ribsi is one of my favorite actors. He has played some very interesting roles and I think he's a bit underrated. Mark my words, the guy is a great actor. Anyway, my sighting. Leaving a screening of the hysterical film Madagascar a man in front of me turned around to see where his friends were and to my surprise and delight is my Giovanni.
Celeb Sighting: Hillary Duff
I'm not a big fan or anything (in fact it took me a while to figure out who that familiar face was) but I was shopping at Barneys New York today and several times Hillary Duff was in and out of the men's department to check in on her guy friend who was trying on clothes.
Celeb Sighting: Anthony Hopkins
Last night a friend and I caught some sushi in Malibu. Great place, great sushi, but the fun part was looking over as I enjoyed my top notch fish to see Anthony Hopkins looking at me as he exited the restaurant.

Celeb Sighting: Tim Bagley
I saw Tim Bagley at LA Pride this weekend. That made more more proud than any of the floats full of dancing mostly naked men. Seeing a working actor and recognizable face 'out' and having a nice day with his friends. I wish more actors and actresses could be out too.

Celeb Sighting: Adam Sandler
I guess this happens pretty frequently, but while on a tour of the lot where Adam Sandler works, he passed through my group going the opposite direction. Someone asked if he was playing basketball (as he is known to do on the lot) and he said that he wasn't playing today. Then he asked who we were and I replied, "Special Effects geeks." He laughed and so did my group.
Celeb Sighting: Jason Schwartzman
Another of my favorite actors was spotted by yours truly today, Jason Schwartzman. I loved, loved, loved him in Rushmore. Then he wowed me in one of my all time favorite films "I (heart) Huckabees" So I'm on my tour of a major studio lot here in LA and sitting on 'Main Street' a small group of men and women walk by and right in the middle of them (can't believe how short he is) is Jason. Again, it took me a minute to realize that he was there. I never really expect to see anyone famous, so when I do it takes my brain a few seconds to register the experience.
